Nick makes a big celebration of all the corny romantic days. Valentine’s was no exception:

Driving there, Blaze ignored us….

…which made Nick mad…but not really, he was faking…

…and when we got there, we saw other fakers… guys reenacting some sword play…

…and then the birds swarmed in…

…and I looked up and hoped nothing dropped in.

We went to Marymoor Park a few weekends ago when I was feeling like poop. The weather was feeling like poop too.

Happy 30th birthday my sister, wherever you are, I hope you find happiness one day.

I’m just posting these because I was damned proud of each attempt. We went to Costco a few weeks ago and came away with a ton of fruits and vegetables. Included were some really beautiful blackberries. I love blackberries but it confound me as to what to do with them.

Finally, I just made cupcakes. Tart and buttery they were good.

Then a few days after, I made this udon noddle soup that was truly superb. Because it was cold and both Nick and I were under the weather.
