Right now, I’m sitting/laying on the chair, in such a position that I never want to get up from. I’m tired. I just spent the last two hours making lasagna, nay… two lasagna. One for us and one to take over to the new mother.

Lasagna noodles are my failing and I either over cook them or under cook them… so what the oven shall yield today will be a surprise. I hope it’s overcooked rather than undercooked.

Meanwhile, I’d made this acord squash soup last week that I didn’t follow a recipe on. And it came out fabulously. I forgot what I put in there already but I think it had carrots, celery, acorn squash, salt/pepper, corriander and some chili powder. I went a bit over board with the chili powder because I’d forgotten just how strong it was. But still, the soup was fabulous.

Here’s what it ended up looking like:

….well you didn’t say, I did. I realize that I’ve been cursing a great deal recently. And not the damn, shit, ass kinda cursing. No, ever other word’s a fuck, cunt, twat, shithead.  Everyone is either a cunt or a fuckface.

Not sure why.

Maybe I do have some form of tourette’s.

Or maybe I’m just really tired. For some reason, I enjoyed reading this.

So my friend Pam was planning for delivery a girl today; remember all those little pink feet that I cut out that night for those invitations? Well at 9:17am she gave birth to a very happy, bouncing baby boy.

He’s 9lbs, 21 inches and round and perfect.

Mother is doing well… father started crying and his older sister was all like, “wtf, boys are gross.” She’s not sure on the name yet as she had her mind set on Haley for a girl. So, he’s temporarily Dillon.

I’ve been hibernating because Spring refuses to come to the Pacific NW.

I’ll start updating soon enough I suppose.

I did however, find a new addiction (as if warcraft, obsessing about wedding, and making fun of people weren’t enough)
