In preparation for my birthday, I had requested one of two things:
1. Celebrate with my family and friends (one more year of just being around Nick and the Dog was not going to happen, it was my 30th afterall)

I have the stories coming up … It’s just that I managed to get a cold (sore throat, fever … ) and feel like poo. In the meantime, I’ve uploaded some pics on Flickr. They’re private though, so if I have you listed as a friend then you can see.
Happy to report that Blaze survived this latest bout of being boarded and he was taken care of so wonderfully. At the suggestion of Carol, my co-worker we took him to Paradise Pet Lodge. The place is managed by her boyfriend’s sister and while I’m inclined to think that they take care of all their boarders this wonderfully, I’m glad that the small connection we had made them pay a bit more attention to him.
Right now he’s running around with Nick’s socks tied around his neck….
So, 30 minutes into my 30th year and it feels tense already. Let the fun begin.
